When is a person NOT Family
When do most of you consider a person to be "out" of the Family, or "no onger" in the Family.
I have met several people who say that they "used to be" in the Family but now are not. But only months or years later I find that what they mean is they are not living in a Family house or Charter Members. As an outsider, its bewildering that you can me an FM member, or some other level, or still believe in the teachings, but tell people you are no longer in the Family.
A person who is FM is still part of TF.
An ex-member may still believe in TF's teachings, while fully excommunicated.
So they aren't mutually exclusive.
Me, I consider someone to be out of TF as soon as they have officially left TF AND have no intention of going back. Case in point, my younger brother recently "left" TF though not by his own volition. It was only in status and he continued to live in an FM or MM home. Soon after that he rejoined, so I don't think of him as having left at all.
Not family?
If you are not related then you are not family.
