[email protected].
Abraços a todos
Mário
Ola
Bem vindo a este site. Apesar de eu nao estiver no Brasil alegra-me ver pessoas lusofonicas aqui.
Bencaos.
Thank you, Evanman. This site is great, I mean, I was shocked when I read the articles posted here. I never, never knew about these things in COG, until now. When I was there I was too young to understand anything (only 16 yo). I never saw any FFing action, I never saw any minor abuse, I never saw anything told here. I was really, really surprised, in the bad way. The only memory I have regarding FFing is a Mo letter called "Flirty Fishing" which was read for us by the shepherd. At that time I didn't understand so much about the subject, I didn't think about prostitution. Besides, there weren't many girls in the house at that time, so I can't say if one of them did that.
I stayied in COG for only 7 months, then I left because I wanted something else for my life. And because - don't judge me wrong - I found out I was gay. And I've been living a gay life since then. I work for a dutch bank, everyone knows I'm gay and they respect me - my family, my co-workers, my friends. I have a partner, we live together and we are very happy with our life - we have fun, we go to the movies, we travel abroad together, we see plays, we have pets - a normal life, at last.
My little time with COG was nice, I can't say it wasn't. Everything was new to me, the litnessing, the songs, the life for Jesus - I repeat: I was too young to understand anything. Besides, I grew up in a very small city and went to Porto Alegre - a metropolitan city - looking for work and college. I was a naive boy. Well, everything is over now.
I must say "congratulations" to you and the others for this site, I'm very touched with your fight against the crimes you were victms, I admire your brave acting. I hope in God this people from COG pay for their crimes. Yes, there is a justice.
Sorry for my bad English.
Hugs and keep the wonderful work.
Mário
