I just read a message you wrote in 2005 wondering whatever became of Rosie who worked in France in Childcare. I think it is the same Rosie I knew in Scandinavia. She was a childcare worker for Micah and Maacah and worked in a school in Denmark in the seventies. You were wondering if she ever got out and I know she left with Micah and Maacah and a person named Dove who was their secretary. They all left together. M and M were over the school and leaders in Scandinavia but were never the brutal kind. In fact they were quite nice. This occurred around the time FFing was being pressured on some that did not care for it at all and I believe that is why they left to begin with. Good for them! I left not long after. I never heard from her after she left, but since you wondered about her, and she was from TX and had been in France in childcare, I thought I would pass that on to you.

Very Happy Thank you so much for posting your message. It brought tears to my eyes. Rosie was so much fun, so kind and real. I have missed her over the years. When we worked in the nursery there in Paris, one of the babies was Micah and Maacah's second daughter, Julianna. She had a tough start. Jessica, her older sister was the cutest little girl, much like her mother. I agree, Micah and Maacah were good people. Thanks again for posting ... and Rosie, if you're out there, PM me.

Yes, this was definitely the same Rosie, a one time hee haw fan with a penchant for the nightly bowl of ice cream. In fact I think I may have heard from her a time or two after she left but I was still in at the time. I remember M & M well and their kids too. My youngest son was the same age as Juliana and my oldest the same age as Jessica. At the time I saw Juliana she was amazing, only about a yr old or so and speaking in sentences. It makes me happy too to know that they got out. Maybe one day she will pass by here and drop a line or two.

That would be so great!

I'm so happy for the chance to find old friends, never thinking there would be that possibility when I left in '78, but with the Internet, of course, all that has changed. Yea!

Speaking of Julianna, that little girl was incredible. When I last saw her she had just began to crawl up on things, trying to walk, but she was so young compared to the other babies, which made it all the more amazing.

Rosie had such a gift of "mothering." When we worked in the nursery, sometimes we'd aggravate the French nationals who were helping us, with our Texan humor and ways, which made it all the funnier.

It was good that Rosie had Micah and Maacah with her, when she left. I'm sure they were a tremendous comfort.
