Hi, I am currently in my 3rd yr of medical school and am applying for my plastics/reconstructive surgery residency. I am interested to know/talk to any other xculter that has gone through medschool/residency process and how it's turned out for you
Re: medical careers
I've started med school...
Re: medical careers
congratulations...what program are you at?
Re: medical careers
Good for you!! It is not easy. There is a reason an MD degree does not grow on trees. It took a lot of guts on your part to take the route you are going and will be difficult for some time yet, but it will be worth it. Way to go!!
I got out in late seventies. I didn't have a formal high school diploma. Took the GED then straight to college after I was out. Had to work several years. I got my BSED in 88 (taught for three years), went back for 54 hours of pre-med, doctorate in optometry and an MBA in medical management. I am currently a partner in a group practice.
