This Karen Zerby Letter....
Can Thorwald or anyone give me a date this Karen Zerby letter was published?

Reading it, I'm stunned by the overall theme of the letter (how many organizations send out warnings not to have adult / teen sexual interaction?!), the fact that the more she writes, the more it seems to a reader that she really thinks it ought to be permitted (but due to society's laws against it, it isn't), and so on.

Anyway, just wondering when it was written...

It was published in October of 1989.

The date on it is "10/89" or October 1989. However, this is not always a reliable indicator of when a Family publication was actually published and distributed. For example, the date on ML 2536 at http://pubs.xfamily.org/text.php?t=2536 is "6/89" or June 1989 but GN 386 (PDF, 2.6MB), in which it was first published and distributed to members, is dated September 1989.
