Phelps family and child abuse

One of the comments links to our, xFamily.org, site. They, the Phelps family (see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps), are certainly abusing their children psychologically. However, I still think we had it worse in TFI.
Apart from whatever else this may be, I can see these people´s behavior as a way of making money though TV appearances, etc. - because I don´t think they "perform" on TV interviews for free, whether or not they or the TV network want to admit it... :wink:
If they do the "Talk Show Circuit" they receive free travel, free board and lodgings plus a fee! If they have an agent, well, they may make even more money.
