Candidate for D.C. mayor steps away from Howard hospital ne


Marie Johns, a candidate for D.C. mayor and a trustee of Howard University, is expected to announce Thursday that she has recused herself from further discussions on a proposed $400 million hospital in Southeast to be jointly funded by the university and the city.
