Elderly Evacuees Await Return to Nursing Home (NPR)


One college sports complex in Texas is still home to elderly patients in the wake of Hurricane Rita. While these evacuees wait for their nursing home north of Beaumont, Texas, to be repaired, they pass the time by celebrating birthdays or playing the harmonica.
