MADISON, Wis. - The Republican-controlled Legislature failed Tuesday to override more than a half-dozen Medicaid vetoes Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle made in the state budget, including moves that wiped out millions of dollars more for nursing homes and cut pharmacy reimbursements.
