Hi roepeg! I have a friend from Canada who's a travel nurse and she's working in Arizona right now. She found the job through Access Nurses. I assume it's harder to find a job coming from outside the US, but she said using a travel agency was really helpful. Good luck!

RN work in the USA
I am a Canadian nurse working in warm South Texas. In order to work for any state in the USA it would benefit you to write the NCLEX-RN exam. Then you can apply for and work in any state of the USA. you would also have to apply for a Treaty Nafta work Visa (green card-currently called an alien card). you can work in any state on your temporary permit while waiting to hear from your test results. There is a Slyvan learning center in Corpus Christi, Texas where you can take the NCLEX-RN computer test.

Good Luck

Jen
