Nursing Organizations Urge Congress to Increase Medicare Re


Fourteen national nursing organizations joined with the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) last week in calling on the Congress to include a provision to address the reimbursement rate of certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) under the Medicare program, as part of budget reconciliation legislation to be considered by the committee this year.
