Nurse, economist to run for LDP (Japan Today)


TOKYO — The ruling Liberal Democratic Party announced Saturday that four more official candidates will run in next month's general election, including a nurse and an economist assigned to challenge LDP rebels against Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's postal reform policy.
