employee health dept
can anyone help. I work as a nurse at a hospital. just got a call from infectious disease control. they are testing certain nurses who changed a dressing on a patient for strep a,b. it is august now this was a dressing change in june. My manager says they need to swab every orafice. If I am positive for strep should I expect to get in trouble for causing a nosocomial infection?
