any thoughts would help
thanks
First, lots of people have heart murmurs, without any ill effects ever being noticed. Generally, this is simply the sound that your heart makes when you have a bit of blood that is not fully 'squirting' into the correct chamber. It can be from many different things.
I can't give medical or nursing advice on any forum, but I would encourage you to check out the American Heart Association for further information, as well as asking your primary care provider to refer you to a cardiology team for further evaluation. I would recommend that an ECHO be performed to determine the extent of the murmur.
Finally, different people have different ears. Some people are just really good at hearing murmurs, and some people hear things that maybe aren't really 'there'. Try not to worry until some more testing is done.
Regards,
Carol
