Nurse killer loses legal challenge (South London Press)


A PARANOID schizophrenic who bludgeoned a male nurse to death and bit off his ear has failed to challenge his manslaughter conviction. Jason Canns, 23, was locked in a secure mental health unit at Tooting's Springfield Hospital when he savaged supervisor Mamade "Eshan" Chatun.
