RNs trying to limit LVN's scope of practice
I am a new Charge Nurse at a Pediatric clinic in California and the RNs think that the LVNs should not be doing birth control counseling, travel counseling, or giving routine immunizations based on Physician approved Standard Protocols. They are even trying to take away the LVN's ability to do basic urine testing. I'm having difficulty obtaining a current California RN Nurse Practice Act and an LVN Nurse Practice Act. Can anyone advise me?
