HealthDay - (HealthDayNews) -- If your child has asthma, the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver suggests you make sure the school is properly alerted to your child's condition:
Ask your doctor for a written action plan for the school. This should include your child's asthma medications, emergency telephone numbers, and a list of things that make your child's asthma worse.
Give a peak flow meter, spacer and rescue medicine to the school nurse.
