Study: Glaxo drug effective in breast cancer (Reuters)


Reuters - GlaxoSmithKline Plc's
experimental cancer pill lapatinib is effective as a first-line
breast cancer treatment and applications for regulatory
approval will be delayed until late 2006 or 2007 after more
data is collected, the company said on Sunday.
