The hospital industry is cautiously eyeing legislation introduced yesterday by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Max Baucus (D-Mont.) that would place considerable restrictions on the burgeoning specialty-hospital sector while altering Medicare payments to all hospitals.
