Local facilities celebrate National Nursing Home Week (El D


Two local nursing care facilities are celebrating National Nursing Home Week through Saturday. Lakepoint Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1313 S. High St. in El Dorado, began activites Sunday with a Mother's Day event at 3 p.m., and had a ladies' brunch with "Elvis in the building" on Monday.
