Need help with relocating
First of all, I have been a nurse for 3 years and am very happy being one. I find great satisfaction in knowing what I do can make a difference in someone else life. I made it thru nursing school with a 85-90% average and worked full time and was a single parent so I am not scared of a challenge, but I need some insight from someone who might know more. Where I live there is either the nursing home or hospital, no room for improvement.That great if you want to stay in a small town with population of 3000. The school district is not good and I send my child to a very expense private catholic school just to get an education. I am wanting to relocate somewhere else where the schools are great and there is more opportunity for her as well as myself. But I don't know where to start. I have put many applications as well as resumes at alot of places with very little response. I ask Human Resource when I call these places if they have relocation packages and most of them say no. It would be very hard for me to move to a new location without some kind of help. Could some one shed some light on this for me. Am I not asking the right question or am I going about it the wrong way? Am i assuming that places have these packages? I take constructive critisism so tell me what I need to do. Thanks.
