Case against woman accused of package, hospital thefts move


A woman who allegedly stole a wallet and credit cards from a patient at Chambersburg Hospital on April 21 waived her preliminary arraignment Tuesday. Karen Beam, 48, of 815 S. Fifth St., is also awaiting sentencing for allegedly stealing packages from local porches around Christmas time.
