County to honor trauma nurse (Poughkeepsie Journal)


A trauma nurse at St. Francis Hospital will be honored Friday by the Dutchess County Emergency Medical Services Council. Jean Walsh has been named the Registered Professional Nurse of Excellence for 2004. ''I'm just not used to receiving anything,'' Walsh said. ''It's really nice to be honored.''
