please i need suggestion
my daughter who is an RN was rejected by the supervisor and human resources after an interview because she had no experience. she wad told to call after she has a year of working experience. my daughter graduated last year 2005 but didnt work becuase she wants to prepare her NCLEX ecam which she take and passed august this year. what should we do , she cant have an experience unless somebody hire her.. we need advice thanks
hard to believe
tell her not to lose hope. there are jobs out there but it might not be the
ones to her liking. i believe that everything happens for a reason and
maybe having trouble now will keep her available for the job that is intended
for her. meanwhile have her volunteer for hospice, catholic charities, aids
foundation, red cross, ect.... you learn something valuable every job you
have. and think of it this way even though she saw a lot of different nursing
venues, she was a student. now she being a new grad. she'll get a chance
to be more in charge and have more autonomy then working under another
nurse. she'll start feeling comfortable with her own assessments and treatment plans without waiting for a review. plus, plus the patients are
sooooo! grateful! have fun!!!
murphy46...thanks for the reply...same thing i told my daughter that there must be a reason behind it..its her first interview ever after she graduate thats why it is depressing to her
