Negotiating schedule
I'm getting ready for my first travel nurse interview and I am wondering if I can negotiate my schedule. I do not want to work myself to death at this assignment or any, for that matter. My recruiter says that the hospital wants me to work 3 nights one week and 4 the next with 2 nights off , most of the time, between working. As most know, that means that I actually will have one day off between time on, since I must sleep on the morning I get home and the day I go back to work. I'm just not willing to do this as a rule. Nor am I willing to have ONE night off between shifts. So, I have sent my recruiter a "sample" schedule where I actually laid out my schedule for the 13 weeks I'll be on assignment and asked that this be presented to any hospitals where I will be interviewing. This schedule actually puts me on more weekend nights than required and has me working 4 nights a week on 5 of the 13 weeks.
MY Question? Will this work? How do the hospitals feel about this? I believe it can be view two ways. As a help to the hospital who can then know up front what I'm willing to do and can schedule around me OR they can get angry and insist that I do what they want.

Can you please give me feedback on this? I'm interviewing today. Question
