HealthDay - (HealthDay News) -- After your child is immunized against childhood diseases like measles, mumps, and polio, what happens when you get home and your child is in pain or has a reaction? The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests:

A cool wet cloth can reduce redness, soreness, and swelling near the inoculation site.
Observe your child for the next few days. You might see a small rash or notice a fever. If you child has any reaction that concerns you, call your doctor.
To reduce pain or fever, your doctor may recommend child aspirin or a similar medication. ...
