Please Help
I have been diagnosed with Viral Pinkeye. My doctor gave me Patanol drops to help with the discomfort. These drops only make my eye worse and I read that you are not supposed to use Patanol drops with Viral Pinkeye. Is this true? Also everything that I have read has said that the symptoms should start improving within 3-4 days. My eye feels worse now than it did when I went to the doctor and every morning when I wake up my eye is swollen shut. I started having the first symptoms on Wednesday August 16th and went to the doctor on August 17th. This same doctor even told me not to use a warm compress on my eye because it would slow the healing process so I haven't. Is this true? Please help I am very uncomfortable and wondering if I should get a second opinion.
