Two siblings underwent the first ever kidney transplant in a public hospital in Cebu yesterday. It was a success. A 37-year-old gynecologist of the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC), where the operation was held, donated one of her kidneys to her 38-year-old brother, a lawyer.
