Wanting To Do Nursing
Hi,

My name is Martina I'm 17 and from Northern Ireland. I would love to do nursing, but I have no exams whatsoever! I would like to do Adult Nursing. I am quite shy which is kinda a downfall, but I think if I go for this it will give me more confidence to chat away to people.

I was born with ROP, and then developed Glaucoma in my blind eye later in life. A few months ago I had an Evisceration as the IOP was uncontrolable, I already had surgery before that which failed. I now wear my artificial eye which is a brill job! My Ocularist and Ophthalmologist have both been great!

If I do enter this line of work I'd like to go on and specialise in Ophthalmic nursing. Can anyone gave me some info about Adult Nursing? Also maybe some tips on gaining more confidence?

I still need my exams so I've a bit to go before I get into nursing.

Thanks in advance!
