Hospital carried out 34-week abortion (The Herald)


HOSPITALS in Scotland have carried out abortions on severely abnormal foetuses as late as six weeks short of their due date of birth. One hospital conducted an abortion at 34 weeks' gestation after the mother refused an earlier offer to terminate 17 weeks into her pregnancy.
