I've never heard of anyone being rejected because they have Hep B. They don't test you for it, anyway. They want to know if you've had all of your shots, but since you already have it, that won't prevent it now. All you have to do is refuse the vaccination, you don't have to say why.

Bear in mind that you should always follow Universal Precautions when caring for a patient anyway (because they might have something you don't want to get). So you have a higher responsibility to follow these policies.

How wonderful you want to go into nursing! First of all, your condition is serious when it comes to healthcare and your work. The laws and protocols vary across the country, according to state, so you MUST do more research into what is needed by you into these areas. You will not get any easy answers from this Forum. I believe full disclosure is in order but to whom, when, and where will depend on the laws and protocols.
You cannot "hide" this disease as someone suggested. You must bear the responsibility of what may or may not happen as you care for patients. You cannot put your patients at risk.
