There are many phillipino nurses in the US. They do not seem to have a problem getting a nursing liscense in the US. I would suggest you write to the board of nursing in the state you are interested in. You can contact most state boards on line by puttiin the state name and .gov and it should get you into the government of that state and then you can search your way thru the web site using words like liscense. For example: for Mass. the liscense web site is www.mass.gov/dph/boards/rn. Sorry I dont know what Washington's is.
