I'm from Korea. I have studied nurses in Korea.

I have plan to study nurses in America. So, I'm taking some classes.

Could someone who is a male nurse answers some questions?

Actually, I have to do my research paper and have individual questions because I'm a man. People usually think men cannot work nurses who are usually women.(especially in my country)

My research paper about Biases in Communication : Advantage of Male Nurses because many people think that nurses should be women.

But, I think that men can also be nurses , it is a gender bias.
So, I got six questions for Biases in Communication : Advantage of Male Nurses
I focue on male nurses, biases and communication.

1. How do male and female patients communicate differently with you?

2. What are the advantage to being a male nurse? How do these advantage help your patients?

3. How do male nurses describe their gender relationships within the institutions of the family, work and other social networks?

4. How are social norms communicated about your profession? How has that affected how people relate to you?

5. What are the issues for male nurses that makes people have biases?

6. What communication strategies do male nurses use to overcome gender biases?
