Nurse organisations welcom new broad-based assessment syste


The UK's Healthcare Commission has developed the new system for assessing public and private health services in England. Its Annual Health Check will replace the star ratings of NHS services at the beginning of 2006. It may still deliver an overall rating for hospitals.
