MedPAC specialty hospital report won't silence competition


At the request of Congress, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission spent a year evaluating the impact of specialty hospitals -- such as Galichia Heart Hospital and the Kansas Spine Hospital -- on acute care hospitals such as Via Christi Regional Medical Center and Wesley Medical Center.
