Both Albuquerque officers wounded in shootout released from


ALBUQUERQUE Both of the Albuquerque police officers wounded in a shootout have been released from the hospital. Officer John Garcia was released from University of New Mexico Hospital yesterday. The 35-year-old had been wounded in the jaw. He was also hit in the chest -- but was protected by his vest.
