help!!!!
what do the initials 'MS' and 'CNOR' stand for i'm an operating department practitioner in the UK and im currently doing critique on an american research article
MS is "med surg" slang for medical surgical floor, CNOR is "circulating nurse in
operating room". There could be some other answers but these are the first ones I can think of. Kinda makes me think that the artical your reading wasn't writen by an American though, as neither are often noted that way? Generally they are said just as I have writen them here in my experience, "med surg"
and "circulating nurse". Good luck I hope you get an A.
Im gonna contradict sharpknife here. I believe that your MS is Master of Science. and I believe your CNOR is "Certified Nurse Operating Room which is an ANCC nationally recognized certification designation which is obtained by writing a test. And not an easy test if its anything like the Med-Surg ANCC test. And these would all make sense from someone writing an article in a journal or textbook.
thanks
