I was curious how as a traveling nurse you are recepted at your various work assignments by permanent staff nurses, also some of the pros and cons of traveling?

@Tseed,
Pro: tax free earning, change of pace, learn about different hospital networks. Your commitment is only 3 months and then its to you if you want to continue.
Can leverage new contracts for more money based on existing contract. (call a few agencies for quotes).

Cons: May have to drive 50-90 miles to assignment or have to relocate. May not get renewed, may have to pick up registry shifts in between contracts if you dont want to leave the market you are in.
