were doing a report on hydroxycut in my nutrition class and we need to know the effects (if there is any) on birth control ex. ortho trycyclin lo and i called the company and they said theye didn't know and to ask a doctor and i called the othro trycylin and they didn't know either! do you know anything? it would be a great help.

Any change in weight can lead to a need for adjustment in dosages of meds. Also, you can try looking up each ingrediant seperately. I find the web to be the best way to do that. Did you ask your pharmacist? The Epocrates Pro program has a section on supplements and interactions, I don't have it right now, you have to pay for it. You can use them both online (epocrates.com), or on a pda. If it asks you for a referral number, here's one, e966638. Unfortunately the fda has only slack reins on the nutritional supplement industry, so info is hard to find.
