Plan to Lift Limit on Nurse Prescribing (RedNova)
All restrictions on nurse prescribing could be lifted under DoH proposals revealed this week. A joint consultation document from the DoH and the MHRA outlines five options for the future of independent nurse prescribing. Independent prescribing by pharmacists is also included in the plan.
