Hospital receives Patient Safety Award (Capital News 9)


An Amsterdam hospital has won the 2005 Patient Safety Award. The New York State Department of Health is honoring St. Mary's Hospital with the award. According to St. Mary's, the hospital has a safety program that's reduced medication errors by 55 percent.
