New Here and Have a Question
Does African Americans usually have successful careers as travel nurses? Can they be excluded from a job because of their racial status? Have you or somebody you know went through anything such as this, I would appreciate your opinions.
I have traveled for many yrs and hve met people from all races and walks of life... the only time I ever saw a problem was in AL and this was about 15 yrs ago when I worked for the Red Cross. Most places I have been to like you to be able to come in, do the job, not be a lounge lizard...be friendly, smile...
I have seen more problems with people that are "Southern" and it didn't seem to make any difference their race.. Had a friend really put down in a hospital in WY because she talks "Southern" and the anesthesiologist told her to not talk in her room...
races
No.. I don't care if you are purple.... if you can pass school you can do the job. A recruiter doesn't care if you are pink or yellow polkadots...they make the same money off you as they do anyone else.
Quit thinking like that.
Where did that come from?
Doesn't matter your skin color. You will win if you want to win.
