traveling with allergies
anybody traveling who has allergies to cats, dogs, dust mites, mold? that's my list, and it's not just a small bother if i am exposed to them. rather, it's a trigger for bronchoconstriction, and the animal allergies could be life threatening if i don't avoid the allergens. do travel companies work with nurses on this? can i trust them to place me in an apartment where no pets have lived? i can control the dust mites and mold spores through other means (choosing a dry climate, using a cover for the bed, etc.) but i would have to trust the company not to lie to me about the animal history of the apartment.
