Hi, I'm a 49 yo RN who has been in the same Maternity/NICU II unit since I graduated. I'd always been interested in travel nursing, but thought I'd never do it as I was married to a non-traveling man & had kids. But now I'm divorced, & the kids & grandkids have moved away. I'm trying to get hired in southern Idaho, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I had hoped to buy a house near my youngest & her family, but don't know if I can get a loan if I'm a traveler, & if I'll make enough $$ to support me & a house. I don't do L&D or NICU III which decreases my possibilities. Any thoughts?
