Spouse new to the Forum
Hi all...I am Denise. My husband began travel nursing last year. We are working close enough to home that we stay 3 days at the location. We own a camper and have it in an RV park. Then we go home for the other 4 days.

We're about to get to the end of a year at this same location, though, so we'll be moving at New Year's. We don't know much about travel nursing where you actually DO travel, and I've been looking for forums where the people are friendly and glad to share information.

We have no way of knowing what's available where except for through our travel company, and don't know much about how to find out about it. How do we go about deciding where to go next?

The co he's with currently has a low rate of per hour pay and the perdiem is big - this is supposed to keep the taxes low. But I've talked to a couple of people who make pretty decent hourly pay and the perdiem on top of it. Is that how most companies do it?

Also, if anyone knows of forums that are specific to traveling couples (esp if the wife doesn't work or just works at little jobs here and there) or travel nursing in an RV I'd really be interested in finding a forum like that.
