i took an assignment at chinle and then renewed my contract 2 more times........it can be a little frustrating @times,language barriers,different culture.......but ,working on the Navajo Reservation was also a very rewarding exp. as well. I am currently working in Ganado,Az. on a different part of the Navajo reservation....and , only about 40 miles from chinle.if you take an assignment there be sure to see the canyon.

Now that y9ou have completed your contract, how was it??? I want to go to the area and hope to get a travel contract there. I want to learn more about the American Indian culture. crafts, rug making basket making and quilts. Would appreciate any news. Thyanks Fellow traveller Joan.

Navajo Reservation work
I recently took an assignment in Fort Defiance, Az and loved it! I extended my stay and am planning to return this Sept. The Navajo people are wonderful! They are very receptive to travelers. The area is beautiful and so full of culture. I worked with some great people that took an interest in teaching me some of the language. Bonnie Medero @ Paragon Medical Staffing does alot of staffing in that area, and she is a wonderful person, tell her Janice W. sent you.
