Anyone had experience with Medical Staffers or Cross Country
I was wondering if anyone had experience with either of these companies? I have heard good things about Cross Country from one nurse.
My experience with Medical Staffers is that they are only interested in getting you to sign the contract. Three days before I would have taken a job, they could not tell me where I would be staying. Is that usual?
I was told to report on Saturday for hospital orientation at 8am.
Was told that I would have to take call once a week and for the entire weekend once a month.
I cannot imagine that a manager would want a nurse who was new to their facility to take call in the OR for emergencies.
Any thoughts?
