I was actually born there....when it had a different name and affiliation !


Some pretty bad neighborhoods around there now (gangs/drugs etc.)

The weather is OK (too warm for my tastes)...running 60-70 F now....
winter is usually best as the ocean breeze keeps the smog to a minimum

You're near the beaches.....only about 25 min. away...Newport, Huntington
and Costa Mesa...

If you like shopping the South Coast Plaza Mall.....all indoors with many wonderful (exclusive and expensive) shops...only about 20 min. away

The Orange county performing Arts Center is across the street from the South coast Plaza shopping mall...

As long as you stay off the freeways after about 2:30PM.....and before about 7:00PM you should have good travel, otherwise the area becomes a giant parking lot.

My most favorite restaurant is a very small place about 30 minutes South...
Ghengis Khan Mongolian Grill....in the Twin Plaza shopping center on El Toro Road....just North of the Interstate 5 freeway in El Toro, CA. I've been going there for 24 years now....and I make a stop by every time I'm in the So Cal area.

As for the hospital, I really don't know much....I haven't been there since I was born there 55 years ago....
