Driving to travel assignments?
Hey guys, quick question, I'm planning on doing travel nursing and I'm doing alot of research. one big question i have is should I take my car or should I request a place within walking distance to my facility. I see alot of pros and some big cons(i.e driving to each city....gas.......pros..i could do things on days off) please give me some feedback. thanks
depends
HEY DREW,
I JUST WANT TO SAY ONE THING .I HAVE ASKED YOUR QUESTION A MILLION TIMES. WHAT TO TAKE AND HOW MUCH. WELL WE ALL HAVE OUR STUFF............................ONLY WHEN YOU FLY SOME WHERE THAT STUFF IS NOT SO IMPORTANT ,GETTING THERE AND GETTING SETTLED IS. I AM TRAVELING FOR THE FIRST TIME END OF JANUARY AND I KNOW THAT STUFF IS NOT IMPORTANT YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO WALMART IF YOU NEED SOMETHING. JUST GET THERE AND ENJOY, BESIDES; HAULING ALL THAT STUFF IS A PAIN. IF YOU DRIVE ,THAT IS ANOTHER STORY. CAN PACK MORE AS YOU TRAVEL AND LEARN THE ROPES YOU WILL FIGURE IT OUT. LATER...BONNIE
thanks bonnie. that sounds like good advice but how do you get around to see the sites of the city you go to?
car rental
HEY DREW,
FROM WHAT I HEAR MOST PEOPLE DRIVE BUT SOME PLACES ARE JUST TO FAR. I PLAN TO FLY IF I GET AN ASSIGNMENT UP NORTH AND JUST GET A RENTAL CAR .THE AGENCY WILL HELP WITH THAT. IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS OR TRAVEL BUDDIES YOU CAN SPLIT THE COST AND EVEN JUST RENT ON WEEK-ENDS. IF I COULD FIND SOMEONE TO DRIVE WITH I WOULD RATHER DO THAT , YOU CAN TAKE MORE STUFF AND COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE. HOPE YOU WORK IT OUT. BONNIE
