UK RN Child seeking to work in the USA
Hi was just after a bit of advice. I am an RN Child here in the UK and have been working in the NICU environment for 5 and a half years. I'm looking to work in the States to be nearer my boyfriend - 5000 miles apart doesn't make for good relationships! I have been told that only General trained British Nurses can undertake the necessary exams required to obtain their US Nursing License. However I also heard somewhere that hospitals will consider individual applications. Has anyone got any advice or has been in a similar situation? Thank you!
